Ashe County’s most recent case involving a sex offense with a child appeared in court Feb. 1 as Brian D. Eller saw his case continued to Feb. 22.

Eller, 27, of Creston, was arrested on Jan. 24 and appeared on four charges of statutory sex offense with a child by an adult and four charges of first degree sex exploiting a minor.

Others in court on Feb. 1 included Dustin G. Baker, Sheila S. Boone, David A. Holman, Max D. Lewis and Christopher R. Miller.

Dustin G. Baker, 30, of Crumpler, who was arrested on May 15, 2017 on charges of carrying a concealed gun, possession of firearm by felon, two charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, one charge of simple possession of schedule IV controlled substance, one charge of simple possession of schedule III controlled substance, two charges of simple possession of schedule II controlled substance, three charges of possessing, manufacturing, selling and delivering of schedule II controlled substance, one charge of possession, manufacturing, selling of and delivering of schedule IV controlled substance, one charge of possession, manufacturing, selling and delivering schedule III controlled substance, two counts of possession of marijuana paraphernalia, one count of simple possession of a schedule VI controlled substance, one count of felony possession of a schedule II controlled substance, two counts of possession of marijuana up to half an ounce and two counts of driving while license revoked, had his case continued to April 19.

Boone, 56, of Lansing, was arrested Dec. 1, 2017, and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a schedule II controlled substance, possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a schedule IV controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, simple possession of a schedule IV controlled substance, carrying a concealed weapon, resisting a public officer and flee/elude arrest with a motor vehicle. Her case was continued to April 5.

Holman, 36, of West Jefferson, was arrested on Oct. 10, 2017, and Dec. 26, 2017, on charges of obtaining property on false pretense, three counts of breaking and entering a place of worship, felony larceny, felony breaking and or entering and larceny after breaking and entering. Holman’s case was continued to Feb. 15.

Lewis, 43, of Creston, was arrested on Jan. 17 on charged of assault to inflict serious injury. He was also charged with first degree arson. Lewis’ case was continued to Feb. 15.

Miller, 30, of West Jefferson, who was arrested on Oct. 5 on charges of one count of possession of methamphetamine, one count of possession of drug paraphernalia, one count of misdemeanor simple possession of a schedule IV controlled substance, one count of second degree trespassing, one count of misdemeanor breaking or entering, two counts of felony breaking and or entering, one count of larceny of a firearm, one count of possession of a firearm by a felon and one count of obtaining property under false pretense, had his case continued to Feb. 22.
